The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 14, 1971

A former resident of Ionia, John Adams, 81, now of Mecosta, died Monday 
evening at Lakeview hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Frannie; four sons, John, Edward and Perry of Mecosta, 
and a son in Flint; two brothers of Mecosta and a sister, Mrs. Robert Skillen 
of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Crittendon funeral home in 
Remus.  Interment will be at Mecosta.
