All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/mifiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Suanne Tasker stasker@cmsinter.net January 1, 2013, 9:51 pm Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Mon., July 30, 1928 Andrew Jackson Adams, 79, was found dead in bed at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Irwin Moon, 775 East Main street, Monday morning about 9 o'clock by Mrs. Moon, who went to investigate the reason why Mr. Adams was late in arising. He had been in poor health for some time, and his death was attributed to heart disease. It is thought the he died about 3 o'clock in the morning. Until the death of his wife in 1914, Mr. Adams was a resident of Ronald but after that time he made his home with his son, Glenn Adams in Sidney and granddaughter, Mrs. Moon. Glenn Adams is his only child. His grandchildren are Mrs. Moon, Mrs. Howard Howe of Palo, Earl Wilson of Shiloh, Mrs. Ernest Braese, Roy Adams, LaVerne Adams, Eva Adams and Clyde Adams of Sidney. He also left 14 great grandchildren. He was affiliated at one time with the Woodard Lake Church of Christ and it is expected that his burial will be in the Woodard Lake cemetery, beside his wife although the arrangements will not be completed until the arrival of Glenn Adams. The funeral services for Mr. Adams were completed late Monday afternoon and will be held from the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Irwin Moon, Wednesday afternoon at 1:45 and from the Woodard Lake church at 3:30 Interment will be in the little cemetery across from the church.
