Mrs. Adams had been a great sufferer from neuritis but through her pain came a vision of hopefulness for her and she always thought that she would be better. She had improved the last week and was beginning to be much more comfortable when she was fatally stricken Sunday afternoon. At this time she became unconscious and never rallied. She had lived for a long time in Ronald Township but after the death of her husband she sold her farm and for 13 years had lived in Orleans. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Pettit, Fenwick; Mrs. Harry Pierce, Detroit; Nellie at home; a brother William Padgett, Ionia and a sister, Mrs. Mary Strong, California.
