Frances Elaine Adams, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.  She was 
born on September 2, 1925 in Danby Township the daughter of Harry and Myrtie 
(Martin) Wilcox.  Frances was a member of the Portland United Methodist Church 
and worked at the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; siblings, Howard, Ernest 
and Harold Wilcox, Ethelyn Freehan, Leta Winkerink and Helen Mellstead.  
Frances is survived by her daughter, Kay Lynn Adams; sister, Dorothy Kissane; 
brother, Ivan Wilcox; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Keith Treman at 1:00 p.m., 
Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., 
Portland.  Interment will be in Portland Cemetery.  The family will receive 
friends 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be 
made to the Portland Senior Center in memory of Frances.
