Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. March 27, 2012

Lawrence Reid Adams, 80, of Ionia passed away March 25, 2012 in Ionia. He was 
born July 27, 1931 in Ionia the son of Franklin and Bertha (Croft) Adams.

He graduated from Ionia High School class of 1949. Lawrence served active duty 
in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 until retiring in 1971. He served during both 
the Korean and Vietnam wars.

He was a champion skeet and trap shooter. He loved to hunt, fish, golf and 
read. He also enjoyed watching the Red Wings, Tigers, MSU Sports and westerns. 

Lawrence is survived by his brothers, James Adams of San Francisco, Calif., 
Richard (Barb) Adams of Ionia, Buddy (Helen) Adams of Plainwell, Phillip 
(Linda) Adams of Muskegon and William Adams of Ionia; sister-in-law, Rozanna 
Adams of Ionia; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Patrick, Terry, Douglas and 
Steven.

Upon his wishes cremation has taken place.
