He started from the house just before dark to get the cows and the supposition is that he got on the fence to look at some colts in the field and that a rail slipped, causing him to fall on pole close by which broke his neck. From appearances he must have died almost instantly. He was found between eight and nine o'clock the same evening.Mr. Adams was 32 years old and leaves a wife and one child. He was very generally liked as the large concourse at his funeral in this village fully demonstrated.-Saranac local.
