April 18, 2008 Douglas "Mick" Michael Adams Douglas "Mick" Michael Adams, 65, of Greenville and formerly of Ionia, born on Nov. 24, 1942 the son of Frank and Bertha Croft Adams died Thursday evening April 17, 2008 under the loving care of his family and the help of Hospice of Michigan. Preceding him were his parents and two brothers, Terry and Patrick. From 1968 to 1970 Mick served in the United States Army stationed in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Johnston of 38 years. Also surviving are three sons, Michael (Denise)Adams of Belding, David (Pam) Andersen of Elkhart,Richard (Belinda) Andersen of Elkhart; daughters, Lorenda (Rich) Ellsworth of Belding, Brenda Plaster of Sidney and Jackie Plaster of Muir. Mick is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, seven brothers, Larry of Ionia, Jim of California, Richard (Barbara) of Ionia, Phil (Linda) of Muskegon, Bud(Helen) of Plainwell, Steve (Rose) of Ionia and Billy also of Ionia; his stepmother,Nola Adams of Edmore; one step-sister and two step- brothers. Funeral services will e 10:30 am.Monday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. There will be visitation one hour before the service and a luncheon will follow the service at Shiloh.Interment with full military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. at Ft.Custer National Cemetery near Augusta. Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh Community Church.
