The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 23, 1938
Harl E. Adams, 53, of Stanton, died at the University of Michigan hospital at 
Ann Arbor Thursday following a serious illness of four months.  He is survived 
by his wife, and the following children:  Harold, Arnold, Paul, Orville, 
Esther and Arthur Ray; and two brothers, Ben Adams of Easton and John Adams of 
South Ionia.  Mr. Adams at one time operated a restaurant in Ionia, and was 
employed by the Montcalm county road commission.  Funeral arrangements are not 
completed.
