Griff A. Adams, 67, of 2928 Middle Lake Rd., Twin Lakes died Monday evening at
his residence after a long illness.  He was born July 21, 1914 in Success, Ark.
the son of Calvin and Saran Adams.  He attended school in Missouri.  He married
Alma Roundtree in Nov. 1932.

A former councilman and village President in Muir he was a member of the Lyons
Baptist church.  In 1974 he retired from the Lyons Chrysler trim plant.

He is survived by his wife Alma, one son, James L. Adams of Twin Lakes, three
brothers, Bryant Adams of Naylor, Missouri, James Adams of Donovan, Missouri,
and Clarence Adams of Muir, one sister, Irene Rigdon of Donovan, Missouri, five
grandchildren, one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at the Lyons Baptist church, Rev.
Paul Carmichael officiating.  Burial will be at the Muir cemetery.  Until noon
Friday he will repose at Hull Memorial Chapel.
