Funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday afternoon, at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Muir cemetery. Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Steven A. Henderson and born in Lansing 48? years ago. When she was seven years of age her parents moved to Ionia and her father was employed by the wagon works plant. Her first husband was Fred Newhouse, a former Muir resident, who died of appendicitis. Her only child, Dale Newhouse, died as the result of an explosion at the Grand Rapids postoffice several years ago although only a bystander at the time of the accident. Her father is dead. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Harry Osborne, of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Clare Butte, Detroit, and Mrs. Gertrude Rashott, Flint; two brothers, Roy and Lynn Henderson, Flint, and a stepson, Grant Adams, who made his home with her.
