Ionia Sentinel, 26 Jan 1983

Rose E. Adams, 80, of East Riverside Drive, Ionia, died Saturday morning at
Ionia Manor.  Born in Lebanon Township, near Hubbardston, on Feb. 22, 1902, she
was the daughter of John and Catherine Miller Schafer. 

She was married to William Adams Sept. 30, 1924, and they made their home on a
farm on Stedman Road until his death in 1958, when she moved to Riverside Drive
where she had lived since.  She was also employed at Ypsilanti-Reed Furniture
Co. and served as housekeeper for SS. Peter and Paul Rectory.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, the Altar Rosary Society, and the
Daughters of Isabella.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Louise) Fitzpatrick of Cedar Springs, and
nieces and nephews.

Scripture Rosary service was held at Leddick Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral mass was scheduled for 11 a.m. this (Monday) morning from SS. Peter and
