Adams, 59, of Edmore, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 7, 2004. He was born October 26, 1944 the son of Frank and Bertha (Croft) Adams. On November 8, 2001 he married Judy E. Adams in Orleans. Mr. Adams has been a resident of Edmore since 2000, formerly of Palo. He retired as an Orleans mail carrier and also a prison guard. Terry was a very active member of the Shiloh Community Church. In addition, he belonged to the Wildlife Federation, the Long Lake Association, and the U. S. Postal Carriers Association. He is survived by his wife, Judy E. Adams; step mother, Nola Adams of Belding, Daughter Beth (Curtis) Hockstra of Edmore; son, Jamie (Libbi) Adams of Ypsilanti; step children, Rhonda Ebert of Bryan, Ohio, Debbie Benner of Chicago Illinois, Adam (Melissa) Springsteen of Gowen; grandchildren, Megan Hockstra and Alexander Adams; step grandchildren, Travis Hill, Karleigh Ebert, Brayden Curry, Donovan Springsteen and Cole Hansen; brothers, Doug (Pat) Adams of Vicksburg; Richard (Barb) Adams of Ionia, Steve (Rose) Adams of Ionia, Bud (Helen) Adams of Ionia, Phil (Linda) Adams of Grand Haven, Larry Adams of Ionia, Bill Adams of Ionia and James Adams of Massachusetts; step sisters, Bonnie (Jim) Ashbaugh of Edmore, Wendy (Pat) Hugenroth of Belding, and Sonny Hugenroth of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Patrick Adams. Funeral services will be on Monday, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh Community Church at Orleans with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment at Balcom Cemetery.
