Adgate, 70, life-long resident of Berlin township, died Sunday at 12:30 at his home in Saranac of influenza. The funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Episcopal church by Rev. F.P. Frye. Burial will be in Saranac cemetery. Mr. Adgate had been a farmer a part of his life and for several years conducted a livery barn in Saranac. He had been married twice, both wives preceding him in death. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Merlie Garfield and Mrs. Jennie Wriggles, of Lansing, and Mrs. Celia Jeffries, of Ionia; three brothers Chester and Philo of Saranac, and Milo of Berlin, and a sister, Mrs. Riley Harwood, of Berlin.
