Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 29 Mar 1945

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Adgate, 75, who died in Atlanta, Georgia, will
be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 from the home, 642 West Main street, with the
Rev. Dwight Kitch officiating.  Interment will be in the family lot in Balcom
cemetery.

Mrs. Adgate died Tuesday afternoon in the Georgia Baptist hospital where she had
been ill for several weeks.  She was taken ill while visiting her daughter in
Atlanta.  She was born in Orange township in 1870.  She was married to John W.
Adgate in 1890 and they resided in Orange until they moved to Ionia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Miriam Aldrich of Atlanta and Mrs. Bess
Phillips of Grand Rapids and a granddaughter, Miriam.
