Mrs. Georgia I. Adgate, 84, who had been residing at the home of her son, Max 
Adgate of route four, Ionia, died Monday evening at 7:45 at his home.  She had 
been ill for some time and was confined to her bed.

She had resided at the home of her eldest son, Gerald in Saranac, for a number 
of years prior to being moved recently to the Max Adgate home.

Born September 19, 1872 in Berlin township, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Henry Hall.  She married Philo Adgate in 1901 and he died in 1934.

Surviving are her two sons, Gerald and Max and six grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Vena Evans at the Morris funeral 
home in Saranac, Thursday afternoon, June 13, at 2:30.  Burial will be in 
Balcom cemetery.
