Mr. Adgate was born in Berlin township July 8, 1957 [I assume this date is in error, but it is the one printed in the obituary], and lived on his father’s farm until 15 years ago, when he moved to Saranac, and started the grocery and meat market which he was still operating. He has not been well for some time, but was about tending the store and performing his usual duties this morning. He left the store during the forenoon, and returned home, where he had a heart attack at 10 o’clock. Besides his widow he leaves two sons, Max Adgate, living on a farm in Berlin, and Gerald Adgate, living at home, and working in the store; a twin brother Milo Adgate, who lives on a farm in Berlin, and a half-brother Chester Adgate, of Saranac. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday at 2 o’clock. Rev. F. G. Wright will officiate. Burial at the Balcom cemetery in Berlin.
