Elda M. Adkins, 93, of Muir, passed away April 27, 2004 at her home. She was 
born June 10, 1910 in Saranac the daughter of George M. and Dora Mae (Fosburg) 
Glick.

She is survived by her son, Wayne and Margie Gladding of Portland; daughters, 
Joan and Donald Defeyter of Bath, Gloria Steepe of Texas; fifteen 
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  
Elda was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel (Jim); sons, Gordon, 
Martin; daughter, Dora Jean; sister, Hazel and one grandson, Randy.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir with 
Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Interment Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be held 
Thursday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
