Agostini, 75, was born June 11, 1934, and died Thursday, March 22, 2010. No longer battling cancer, he now joins his parents, Fern and Louis Agostini, wife Hope Agostini, and sister and brother-in-law Sally and Jerry Griffin in heaven. Surviving are his children, Vicki (Jerry) Reinhardt of Ionia, Sandi (Ken) Zak of Belding, Kristit (Dave) Krampe of Belding, and Michael (Becky) Agostini of Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Hope (Mike) Verro, Emily (Matt) Tucker, Becky Zak, Stephanie Zak, Jeremiah, Michael, Jennifer (Aaron) Clark, Rachael (Ryan) Decker, and Ericka Krampe; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Devon, Mikey, Grace, Eli, Lily, Zachary, Caleb, Angelina, Josiah, Jayden, Mya and Makhi; brothers; Louie (Linda) Agostini of Ionia and Phil (Dorothy) Agostini of Arizona; and sister, Sue (Gary) Swinehart of Ionia; along with several loving nieces and nephews. Mike enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved to hunt, go on archeological digs, camp, grow tomatoes and dahlias, watch/feed the birds (especially orioles), paint, read and cook. He also loved to travel, especially to Yellowstone National Park. Mike was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Moose Lodge. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Tom Boufford officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service at the Moose Lodge located on the M-21 highway. In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Yellowstone National Park.
