The Hastings Reminder, November 9, 2013


Gilbert Bruce Agostini, age 72, of Hastings, passed away October 31, 2013, at 
home.  Gilbert was born in Portland, Michigan, on June 20, 1941, the son of 
Aldo and Edla (Preston) Agostini. 

Along with his parents, Gilbert was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra 
(Fenn) Agostini, infant son, Mark Agostini, sister Patti (Agostini) Mason and 
step daughter, Donna Strohm.  

Gilbert is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Bruce (Terri) Agostini; step 
children, Sally (Paul) Fitzpatrick, Melvin Dale, Terry (Marilyn) Dale; several 
grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; brothers, Bob 
(Janet) Agostini and Dick (Nancy) Agostini. 

Memorial contributions can be made to American Legion Hastings Post or to Barry 
County Hospice.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, 
at Mt. Hope Cemetery, at 11 a.m. with a luncheon following the services.

Lauer Family Funeral Homes-Wren Chapel 1401 N. Broadway in Hastings has been 
entrusted to care for the family.
