She had been critically ill for about two weeks. She came to Ionia with her husband in 1905 from Alma and they purchased the present Agostini Building where they opened a fruit and confectionery store. They later converted a portion of the store into a tavern. Silano died December 18, 1942. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church and the Rosary society. Surviving her are four sons, Amerigo and Alfred of Ionia and Faust and Aldo of Portland; a daughter, Leone, of Ionia; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Pedro Renucci of Ionia. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul church with interment in St. Olivet cemetery. Rosary will be said Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at the home, 424 1/2 West Main street. Additional Comments: Funeral: Thursday, 29 July 1948 Mt.
