He came to America in April, 1891. In January, 1900, he started up in business as a confectioner in the location now occupied by the J.C. Penney company. About ten years later he built the business block that bears his name and moved to that location. Mr. Agostini is survived by his widow, one son, Louis, for several years coach of the Academy football squad; two grandchildren; two brothers, Silano of Ionia, and Pompey, of Barga, Italy; and a sister, Mrs. Marie Mazzolini, of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be held from the SS. Peter and Paul church at 9:00 a.m. Friday. Interment will be in the family lot at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
