She was born in East Grand Rapids, MI on July 11, 1944 the daughter of Amerigo and Mildred (Flannagan) Agostini. Caroline attended St. Colitta School in Jefferson, MO, and later attended the Gruter Foundation in Wooster, OH. She returned to Michigan in 1986 and resided at the Elms AFCH in Centreville and Deer Country AFCH in Burr Oak. Caroline had been employed at the ARCH Workshop in Sturgis. She competed in the Special Olympics, participating in the St. Joseph County Golf Outing and travelling to the State Bowling Meet. Caroline loved Country Music, especially Johnny Cash. She enjoyed her travels to Orlando, Dollywood, and Branson, MO. She liked to crochet and hook rugs. Caroline is survived by her sister & brother in law, Kathleen & Patrick Haas of Mendon; 1 niece and her spouse, Amy & Mike McCaw, and their children, Ashley, Emilie, and Colin of Vicksburg; 3 nephews and their spouses, Joe & Joyce Haas and their children, Patrick and Jacob of Sturgis, Chris & Allie Haas and their children, Alex and Cara of Portage, Dan & Andie Haas and their children Amielia and Reagan of Oxford, MI; 1 aunt, Leona Tingley of Tampa, FL; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Andrew James Agostini. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 in St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon with Rev. James Vinh Le officiating. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Ionia, MI. Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph County United Way, or the Special Olympics.
