Ionia Daily Sentinel, 21 Dec 1942

Rev. Fr. John S. Fons of the SS. Peter and Paul church, sang low Mass Monday
morning at 9 o’clock for Silano Agostini, 70, for 37 years an Ionia Main street
merchant who died early Friday morning at his home on West Main street. 
Pallbearers were Louis Agostini, Albert Guidi, S. Guidi, and Bruno Mazzolini. 
Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Mrs. Pauline Ingram and Mrs. Calvin Balzell
were in charge of floral arrangements.

Those who attended from away were John Luchini of Alma; Henry Dimmick of Grand
Rapids; Albert Guidi and S. Guidi of Portland and Bruno Mazzolini of St. Johns.
