The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 5, 1991


Travis Floyd Aikens, 8, of Ionia died Wednesday.  He was born the son of Gerald 
and Kin Nelson Aikens Aug. 5, 1982 in Ionia.  He was a student at Jefferson 
School in Ionia.

Surviving are his parents; a sister, Rhonda K.; two brothers, Benjamin H. and 
Matthew J., of Ionia; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald H. Aikens and 
Harold Nelson, of Ionia and Judy Hoesprung of Vestaburg; great-grandparents 
Ivah Bennett of Ionia, Floyd H. Aikens of Florida and Alice Loy of Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Shiloh Community Church 
with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Organist will be Beverley Harger.  
Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family will be at the Cook Funeral Home 
in Ionia from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
