He was born June 12, 1914, in Berlin township, the son of Robert and Florence Ainsworth, and had lived on the farm where he was born all of his life. He was a member of the Central Methodist church and graduated from Lake Odessa high school in 1932. Surviving are his wife, Rose; four daughters, Linda, Ann Lee, Sarah and Lorena at home; his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Lyle Lydy, all of Lake Odessa. The body reposes at Pickens funeral chapel until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to the Methodist church where services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Robinson officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
