The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 4, 1957
Mrs. Nettie Alberts, 82, of 113˝ Webber court, Ionia, died at her home Monday 
evening at 6:30 following several months illness.  She was born August 2, 1874 
in Detroit, the daughter of William G. and Ann Melissa (Bascom) Jack.  Coming 
to Ionia when a small child, she had lived here the remainder of her life.

Mrs. Alberts married Henry Alberts September 3, 1903 and she was a member of 
the Women of the Moose since 1916.

Surviving are her husband, Henry; two nieces, Mrs. J. C. Mathis of Cuba, Mo., 
and Mrs. Leon McQuillan of Ionia.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the 
Myers funeral home with the Rev. George Rentschler officiating.  Interment 
will be in Highland Park cemetery.
