Charles Franklin Alberts, aged 70, passed away early Sunday morning January 31,
following a heart attack.  He was born April 1, 1867 in Barry county, near
Hastings.  On the first day of October, 1891, he was joined in marriage to Nancy
Coyle.  To this union was born six children, two sons: Theodore, who died in
infancy, and Charles, of Pontiac; four daughters, Mrs. Ora Jenks, who passed
away March 26, 1920; Mrs. Arthur Clingensmith, of Dearborn; Mrs. Henry Shaft, of
Mason, and Mrs. Lester Cavender, of Detroit.  Surviving besides the widow and
four children are two grandchildren: Gayle Brown, of Detroit, and Colleen Mary
Shaft, of Mason, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Rice of Grand Rapids.  Funeral services
were conducted at the Fales funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o‘clock.  Burial
was in the Greene cemetery.
