The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Saturday, July 5, 1919
The funeral of Ernest Alberts was held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at 
the residence of his brother, Henry Alberts, on East Main street.  The singing 
was by Mrs. R. A. Colwell and Mrs. John Hodgkins Jr.  Rev. E. E. Branch 
officiated and burial was in the family lot in Highland Park.  The bearers 
were T. A. Carten, E. E. Slye, Bernard Ely and Ralph Cheney.
