                             AUGUSTINE ALCALA

Augustine Alcala, 85, of Ionia, passed away May 11, 2010. He was born May 28, 
1924, in Florisville, Texas, the son of Esequiel and Portfiria (Vargas) Alcala. 
He married Rosa, who preceded him in death in 1978.
Augustine is survived by his children: Tom and Emily Alcala of Ionia, Martha 
Diaz of Texas, Alice and Jim Cruttenden of Hastings, Hester and Jerry Brown of 
ionia, Augustina Alcala Jr. of Ionia, Alberta Alcada of Kansas, and Deliah 
Alcala of Ionia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Sunset 
Memorial Gardens with the service beginning at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at 
St.John's Lutheran Church.
