                                OBITUARY
Lucy M. Alden died at her home near Athens, Michigan, March 14, 1914, aged 83 
years 10 months and 7 days. 

Mrs.Alden's maiden name was Lucy Marion Childs and she was born in Jefferson 
county, N.Y., May 7, 1830. She was married to Abram H. Alden July 5, 1853, who 
survives her. Besides her husband, she leaves one son and two grandsons. She was 
one of a large family, all of them having preceded her to the better world.

She was converted when about seventeen years of age, and has been a faithful 
follower of her Savior, trying all through life to do something to lead others 
to a better life.

The funeral was held from the Tamarac church Tuesday afternoon, and the remains 
were interred in Lakeside cemetery.

bereavement, and we also wish to tender our gratitude to the singers.
