The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 6, 1927
Mrs. Eunice Alden, age 62 years, died at her Boston township rural home 
Saturday following an illness of two years of cancer of the liver.  She was 
one of the county’s pioneers as well as being a daughter of pioneers, and had 
always lived in Boston township.  Her church affiliations were with the South 
Boston church.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Melinda Edward of 
Magnolia, Ia.  The funeral services were held from the residence Tuesday at 2 
o’clock.
