The Lowell Ledger, Thursday, August 24, 1905


Mrs. Olive A. Alden died Monday afternoon at her home in Boston township, east 
of Lowell, after a long illness.  Funeral services were held at the house 
yesterday afternoon, conducted by Mrs. Eualee Benham of Ionia, and interment 
was made in the South Boston cemetery.

Deceased was born in Vermont, in 1827.  She has been for many years a resident 
of Boson township.  In 1861 she was married to Henry Alden, who died March 12, 
1899.  Mrs. Alden leaves one daughter, Miss Eunice V. Alden.
