Aldrich, 86, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Larson of Berlin township, Monday morning. She had been ill since October 30. Mrs. Aldrich was born in Berlin township July 21, 1871, and lived her entire life in the township, eighty years having been spent on the homestead where she was born. She was the daughter of William and Sarah Hicking. She was married February 6, 1895 in Saranac to George F. Aldrich. He died November 20, 1949. A member of the Berlin Center Methodist church, Mrs. Aldrich was the church organist for more than 50 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul Redman of Leslie, Mrs. William Larson of Ionia township and Mrs. Elmer Larson of Berlin township; 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at Berlin Center Methodist church Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. J. Lawrence Ward will officiate. Interment will be in Balcom cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by Boynton’s funeral home, and the body will be at the home of Mrs. Elmer Larson until time of the funeral.
