SARANAC- Frank H. Aldrich, 71, of 6041 Jordan Lake Road, Berlin township, died 
suddenly Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack.

He was born August 12, 1897 in Berlin township where he was a farmer until his 
retirement in 1959. For the past seven years he was custodian at Saranac high 
school. He was a member of Berlin Center United Methodist church and veteran of 
WWI.

Surviving are his wife Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Howard of route 4 
and Mrs. Ami Garland, route 1; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; 
one brother William of Lake Odessa.

Mr. Aldrich will be at Morris-Roetman funeral home at Saranac until noon 
Saturday when he will be taken to berlin Center United Methodist church for 
services at 2:30 pm. Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate and interment will be at 
Balcom cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Berlin Center United Methodist Church.
