DOES NOT LIVE TO ENJOY HIS PENSION
Nelson B. Aldrich Dies Before Receiving Benefit of Special Act of Congress
Nelson B. Aldrich, a veteran of the civil war, died Wednesday morning at the 
home of his son, Burton B. Aldrich, in the village of Portland, death claiming 
him before he benefited from the pension given him by congress last month.  
The funeral was held Friday afternoon, the Rev. D. E. Millard conducting the 
services.
