Lake Odessa Wave
   SERVICES HELD FOR ANNA E. ALDRICH
  Mrs. Anna E. Aldrich 69, of route 2, Lake Odessa, passed away early Monday morning
at Blodgett Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids following a long illness.
  She was born at Sunfied, August 4, 1901, the daughter of Clarence and Kathryn
(Popp) Downing and married Clayton A. Aldrich of Sunfield November 9, 1920.  They moved 
to Lake Odessa in 1940 and operated a fruit and vegetable market during the summers 
in connection with their farming.
  Surviving are her husband; a son Clarence S. of Ionia; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph
(Betty) Powell of rural Lake Odessa; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild;  also 
a sister Mrs. V. O. (Grace) Braun of Owosso.
  Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at Pickens Funeral
chapel.  Rev. Arthur Heider officiated, with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
