LAKE ODESSA- Maria M. Aleman, age 70, of Lake Odessa, formerly of Alamo, TX, 
was called Home to be with her Lord on Friday afternoon, May 29 2009.

Maria was born in Edinburg, TX on June 8, 1938 to Geronimo and Francisca 
(Acosta)  Noyola.

She was united in marriage to Lorenzo Aleman in 1952 in Edinburg; he preceded 
her in death in 1983.

Maria enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading her Bible, and especially loved her 
family.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Maria was an active member of the Living Gospel Church in Lake Odessa and loved 
her church family.

Maria is survived by her children, San Juanita (Noel) Gonzalez of Alamo, TX, 
Norma Abriz of Houston, TX, Josefa (Heriberto) Sanchez of Streamwood, IL, 
Javier (Bertha)  Aleman of Tribune, KS, Mariana (Arturo) Robledo of Harrington, 
DE, Lucila (Manuel) Segura of Empire, KS, and Lourdes (Andy) Cano of 
Clarksville; 23 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great 
grandson; and her brother, Jose (Francisca) Noyola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lorenzo Aleman; son, Lorenzo 
Aleman, Jr.; and sister, Paula Hernandez.

The funeral service was held at the Grace Baptist Church in Donna, Texas on 
Thursday, June 4, 2009.

A Celebration of Life service honoring Maria will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, 
June 26, 2009 at the Living Gospel Church in Lake Odessa (1600 Rochester 
Street, Lake Odessa, MI 48849).

Local arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. The 
family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Living 
Gospel Church. Memories and messages may be left in the family's memory book at
