The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 23, 1947
Laura May Alexander, 73, died Tuesday afternoon at the Marshall hospital.  
Born in Ionia county, she was the daughter of Elam and Martha Alexander.  She 
had lived in this county until 15 years ago when because of ill health she 
moved to Battle Creek.

She is survived by a brother, Earl of Battle Creek; a niece, Mrs. Walter Huck, 
a nephew, Gerald Alexander, and grand-niece, Martha Moorehead, all of Battle 
Creek.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. from the Bradley funeral 
home.  Dr. Paul Stewart will officiate with burial beside her mother in the 
family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
