Ionia Standard, 8 Aug 1913

Martha A. Alexander, wife of Elam Alexander, died at midnight of Thursday night
at age of sixty.  She leaves, besides her husband, a son, Marshal Earl
Alexander, and a daughter, Miss Mae Alexander.  The funeral was held at the
residence, 335 N. Jefferson street, at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Rev. Spencer
officiating.  Burial was in Highland Park.
