The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 18, 1960
Committal service was held at Highland Park cemetery Monday afternoon for 
Gerald Alexander, 47, of 53 Rose Street, Battle Creek, who died January 15 at 
Lakeview General hospital.  He had been in ill health several years.  Mr. 
Alexander was born in Ionia May 11, 1912, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl 
Alexander, and had  been a resident of Battle Creek since 1928.  

He is survived by his mother, Flora Alexander, of 53 Rose Street, a sister, 
Mrs. Beulah Huck, and his wife, Ruth of Battle Creek.  Funeral service was 
conducted at the Farley funeral home in Battle Creek at 11 a.m. Monday.
