Gregory Scott Alexander, age 36, of Ionia, passed away on September 21, 2006. 
He was born on November 14, 1969 in San Jose, Calif., the son Dennis and Bunny 
Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ervin and Buelah Curtis and 
Thomas and Lou Alexander.  Greg leaves behind his cherished and beloved Thomas 
and Matthew and his adored wife, Tammy; mother, Bunny (Ralph) Freeland of 
Chippewa Lake; father, Dennis (Elizabeth) Alexander of St. Petersburg, 
Florida; sister, Cristy Stoddard of Hubbarbston; nephews Christopher, Gregory, 
Joshua Stoddard of Hubbardston; aunt, Kathy (Ray) Gregory of Rockford; cousins 
Shari (Chuck) Kirby of Ypsilanti, Marci (Drew) Makin of Fairfax, VA and 
Michael (Donna) Ryan of Hartland; great aunt, Mary Brown of Lansing; several 
other cousins and many friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St. Ionia.  Interment will follow in 
Balcom Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friend 6 to 8 p.m., Monday 
evening at the funeral home. For those wishing memorial contributions may be 
made to a scholarship fund for Greg's sons.
