Ionia County News, 1 Mar 1951

John Allarding, 80, dropped dead at 9:20 Wednesday morning, February 28, at his 
home in Lake Odessa.  A retired farmer, he was born southwest of Lake Odessa, and 
had lived in the Lake Odessa vicinity all of his 80 years.  He is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. Vinnie Lepard, who lived in his home; a son, Fay, of Lake Odessa, 
and several grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from a grandson, Hollis Lepard, in the 
U.S. Army now in California.
