Alleman occurred Monday, at the home of his son, John Alleman, in Danby township following an illness from ailments incident to old age. The funeral was held from the residence Wednesday forenoon, under the auspices of the Portland lodge of Masons of which he was a member, in charge of Rev. Taggart, pastor of the Portland Congregational church. Burial was made in the Danby cemetery. Mr. Alleman was born in Danby township in 1864, about one and one-half miles from where his death occurred, and had spent his entire lifetime in that vicinity. Since the death of his wife, three years ago, he had made his home with his son. Besides the son one sister and two brothers survive, Miss Lillian Allman of Sunfield and George and Jay Alleman of Sebewa.
