The Portland Observer, Wednesday, October 17, 1906


Mrs. Alleman, mother of Mrs. W. W. Peake of this village, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. B. F. Koutz, in Odessa township last Friday.  She was ill 
but a couple of hours and heart failure was cause of death.  She was 65 years 
of age.  She had resided in Portland a short time up to Friday.  Burial took 
place at Lake Odessa Tuesday.

Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that the last name is Alderman.
