Death of a Bankers Wife

Portland, Mich., Feb 25.- The wife of Capt. E.M. Allen, a banker of this place 
and well known Michigan politican and Grand Army man, died here yesterday 
afternoon, after a protracted illness of Bright's disease. The funeral will be 
held Sunday afternoon. She was prominent in social and chruch circles.

Additional Comments:
Captain Ethel M. Allen and his wife Anna were the parents of two daughters, 
Winifred and Gertrude Allen.
