Ionia County News, 28 May 1953

Hugh Allen passed away at the St. Johns hospital Friday evening, May 22.  His 
funeral was Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church.  Rev. Harold Homer 
officiated and he was laid to rest at the West Side cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Amy; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Reynolds of Muir; five 
sons, Henry of Elsie; Russel of Matherton; Rollin and Harvey of Hubbardston, and 
Robert of Detroit.  Also twenty grandchildren, four sisters and six brothers.
