Lake Odessa Wave, 18 Sep 1933

Ernest Allen passed away Friday after a short illness of brain fever resulting 
from ear trouble.  Mr. Allen and his brother Ora were associated together as 
steel roofers and were thereby well known among the farmers of the vicinity of 
Lake Odessa, Woodbury and Sunfield.  The home of Ernest Allen was one and one-
half miles southeast of Woodbury.

After his illness became critical he was taken to Pennock hospital, Hastings, 
where he died as above noted.  He was highly respected and won the respect and 
esteem of many friends as was shown by their sympathy and kindness.
