Stanley Edward Allen, 83, of 233 Tabor St., Lyons, died Tuesday after a long 
illness.  Born Nov. 14, 1900, in Lyons, he was the son of Edward and Bessie 
Allen.  He attended Lyons High School and was a self-employed painter.  Surviving 
are two sisters: Kathleen Beebe of Grand Rapids and Ruth Martin of Lyons.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at 
Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with the Rev. Byron Coleman of the Lyons United 
Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
