The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 15, 1921

The funeral for Mrs. Ida J. Allen was held from the home of her son, Fred 
Allen, 310 E. Washington street.  Rev. R. E. Meider and Rev. C. E Hoag of 
Grand Rapids were in charge of the services.  Mrs. John Hodgkins, jr., and 
Mrs. Ray Colwell sang.  The bearers were Fred, Frank and George Allen, William 
Graham of Grand Rapids and Ed and W. Heyer of Allegan.  The flowers were many 
and beautiful.  The funeral was attended by many friends and relatives.  The 
burial took place in Highland Park.
