Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Aug. 29, 1939


Rita Loretta Allen, six-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen of 
330 Johnson street, died at her parents' home Tuesday morning, August 29. She 
had been ill since birth.

Surviving are her parents, the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orin 
DeGroat, of Ionia; the paternal grandmother; Mrs. Albert Martin, of Ionia and a 
great grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Moore of Ionia. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon, August 31, from the 
Boynton funeral home. Rev. Frederick G. Dunbar, pastor of the Methodist church, 
will officiate. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
